"Vast Beneath the Skies" by Druad

This album has crossed my crypt and I am for one are grateful for it.  Each track seeps with atmosphere that is somber yet mournful at the same time. From opening track "Vast Beneath the Skies" it is like a song that you would hear coming home from a great war. Each track carries you on a journey into a place you once called home. They paint a vivid picture of a village with gloomy skies and fates of men that have journeyed. Each track takes you foot step after foot step into a land that has seen war torn times. 

Yet all is not lost the closing track "Temples Glowing White" is by far the end of the long trek. L our man behind the keys treats our heroes to a welcome yet satisfying ending. L's craftsmanship with the keys is one that all should enjoy.  He creates such lush atmosphere and textures that rivals modern synth players. So sit back open some wine and enjoy this one.
